Books can be expensive, BCycle isn't

Leave hills and crowded parking in the dust with unlimited access to electric bikes all around campus. And the best part is that all new and returning UC Santa Cruz students can sign up for BCycle at an awesome discount.

In partnership with UCSC Transportation and Parking Services, students and staff can sign up for an Annual Pass for less than the cost of an Uber, giving them access to unlimited e-bike rides for a full year. And sign up could not be easier:

1. Visit the TAPS page and request your promo code
2. Download the BCycle app and sign up for an Annual Pass with the provided code and your @ucsc.edu email
3. Use the app to find and unlock e-bikes on campus and around Santa Cruz for a full year from sign up!

About your BCycle Annual Pass

1. Your pass includes an unlimited number of 60-minute trips. Return the bike to any BCycle station within 60 minutes to avoid usage fees. Any additional time your bike is checked out over 60 minutes will be billed $3/30 minutes and charged to the card on file at the end of the month.

2. When you return a bike back to a dock: a successful return is signaled with 3 BEEPS and flashing green dock light. You will also receive a confirmation text. Double-check the bike was returned to the dock correctly if these indicators are not present.

3. Station full? Use the BCycle App to see up-to-the-minute dock availability and find open docks near your destination.
